Personally. I am very straightforward and I say how I feel about people. I don’t act like many other people. I have worked in an office for more than 30 years and I never saw this kind of reactions and behaviors which I see among the cinema people from my colleagues in office. I see some people praising for each other when they meet but they backstab each other very easily. These sort of actions irritates me. so I do feel peaceful at my work place. I wish few of our friends would notice that life is not a performance stage in which we have to act. However, I think actors would show few of their characters in their acts, and if look closely, you get to know them more easily. My social interaction circle is very limited and small. I have been interacting with very limited people in these many years. Like Lady Amir Hamzeh or Shohreh Soltani and Bahareh Afshari and few other actresses. I rarely communicate with people unless I know them very well. Apart from the tasty part of the house, the awards, certificates of Donyaye Tasvir and Channel Three and Azad University on top of the fireplace would attract anyone. Besides a Hafez Divan is always placed on the table text to the living room. Mr Khashayar Rad and his family were my guest a while ago. I asked them which food would they want me to prepare. And they said Baghali Dampokht with Lite. You may not believe how much they loved this food and I was so happy about that.

I have been always delighted to see how the best of human nature is translated into the world around us. Living an working in Italy, gives me an unique opportunity to visit outstanding places, which are a material proof of an unfathomed creative potential of humans.

Venezia, as Italians call it, is a living example of the wonderful things humans are capable of. The muddy soil of the tiny venetian islands has become a home to many. With the passing of time the early households of the first Venetian merchants have experienced an outstanding transformation to remarkable wonders of architecture.

The water running across and around Venice is essential for the survival and the functioning of the city. However, as you can see on many of the photographs, the water is not just the blessing but also the curse of Venice. From its beginnings, the Venetians had to deal with humidity, erosion, high water (acqua alta), and instability of the terrain. As you can see on the photographs, the fifteen centuries of hard work, ongoing transformation and innovation payed off!

To me, Venice will always be an astonishing monument of human ingenuity that never ceases to surprise and delight me. Truly, an one of a kind city.

Either for work or fun, I have drawn everyday for as long as I can remember. When in 2012 I gave birth to our little girl, it was very natural for me to reach for a pencil and draw to record. It was a wonderful, magical, difficult, knackering first year.

Every day seemed to bring with it a new challenge or breathtaking developmental milestone. I didn’t want to forget any of it. I’d scribble things down as my baby napped. It was often cathartic to make light of situations that were often challenging at the time. By the end of my daughter’s first year, I realized I had amassed quite a pile of drawings. Badgered by friends and family, I decided to try and get them published.
